My days of doing street fairs or a selling booth are few and far between. But when Hellmouth Con came up on my calendar, I made an exception! Hellmouth Con is a fan created, fan run, Buffy fandom event that takes place yearly at Torrance High School in Torrance, California - the filming site of Sunnydale High!
It was an opportunity to connect directly with fans of Buffy, the Vampire Slayer and it was SO MUCH FUN. I saw so many people dressed as their favorite characters and everyone was celebrating Buffy and what the show means to them. Hellmouth Con raises money for charity, holds various panels and invites the actors and artists who contributed to the show to speak and have autograph sessions. Who knows, maybe next year I will be on a panel?!
In honor of the event, I revived another one of my Buffy original designs - two colorways of a Suede and Silk Cuff, worn by Willow (Allyson Hannigan) on the show. I also created my version of a Willow necklace at the request of awesome Instagram influencer (and Buffy superfan) Hyancinth Honey - a Thai Silver and Silk Necklace.
