Jewelry on Little Fires Everywhere
Hulu limited series based on the bestselling novel by Celeste Ng, Little Fires Everywhere stars Reese Witherspoon and Kerry Washington. It's a story of two mothers living in the idyllic neighborhood of Shaker Heights in the late 90's. My assignment from costume designer Lyn Paolo was to provide jewelry for the teenage characters. She was looking for 90's fashion - chokers, puka shells, leather, stretchy things. I dug into my Buffy the Vampire Slayer design archive and provided a few choices! So far, teen Lexie (Jade Pettyjohn) has been spotted wearing my Alphabet Bead Necklace throughout several episodes. With a few more episodes to go, who knows what else will appear!
